 Instructors
Leon Rose

Leon Rose is one of the coolest innovators of the international salsa stage.
As salsa choreographer and professor, Leon loves all the aspects of the dance, that it is to encourage the beginners or to work with the most advanced, or to inspire the best. Leon gives lessons worldwide, from Australia, to Morocco and Puerto Rico. His natural exuberance and his salsa spirit lead to the desire to see him in action - Salsa is Life!

Ramark Dance Company

The choreographies of Ramark are based on the L.A. style and combine speed and acrobatics with an out of ordinary energy and command. Their creations are constructed starting from the salsa language, but include also other artistic influences, such as classical music, hip-fop, jazz, contemporaneous dance. Their originality is characterized by the fact that they are not satisfied with holding performances, but they make a “show” in the real sense of the word.

Falco Benalcazar
is originally from the Equator.

Dancer from the age of 7, he begins dancing the afro-Ecuadorian and then starts to attend dance training at the School of Fine Arts from Esmeralda, his home town. Fine dancer of salsa, samba, lambada, chachacha and other Latin dances, Falco, in spite of his youth, is one of the dancers most appraised in Europe. Having remained two years in Big Spenders, the tours in Europe succeed one after another. Falco is one of the best dancers in Paris and in Europe.

Virginia Bernabeu Navarro
was born in Saragossa (Spain) on the 18th of

June 1979. Having a passion in art since her childhood, in 1995 she begins dancing in different academies from Saragossa.

Finishing her career at the age of 25, she goes back to Saragossa and starts the Rivendel Dancers’ troop. By collaborating with various troops and by performing her own choreography, she brought to the world the Gavana Girls, the first group of female style salsa from Saragossa, thanks to which she became known at different congresses and events from Spain.
After going from the Cuban salsa, to the L.A. salsa style, to the cha cha cha, the bachata… she makes the acquaintance of Enoch, (YeMambo), and this one teaches her to dance the break On 2.
In 2005 she meets Falco in Paris, a passionate and rich dancer of salsa. Two years afterwards, he makes her a proposal and this one could not be more tempting, to be his dance partner.

Noémie

France is emerging as a dominant force in the world of Salsa with Noemie right in the forefront setting standards for others to follow. Her versatility in the dance has turned many heads as she is extremely capable of dancing most, if not all styles of Salsa and still remarkably keeping her own unique flavour. Noemie’s energy not only stands out on stage or while dancing socially but also in her classes and workshops where students always feel they have really learnt something and enjoyed doing so.
Since becoming full-time professional dancer and instructor Noemie has taught and performed globally. Egypt, Guadeloupe, Morocco, French Guyana and many European countries such as Denmark, Spain or Romania are only a few of the places where she has left her mark.Noemie continually strives to develop herself as dancer and in her classes she is always ready to help her students do the same.

Anne Laure

One day in the year of 2000, I have entered, by chance, at a salsa class and I have discovered at the same time both the music and the dance.
From a simple activity to break the monotony of the nights and days of the big city, salsa has become a real passion, no matter if it was Cuban or Porto Rican. In 2002, I left Paris to go back to my home province and then I met Hicham in Nantes. Quite from the first dance, we have decided to become partners.
In 2003, the adventure continues with the creation of Salsafresca, the treasurer of which is I (due to some professional competences, I must admit...), but I am also the entertainer in all the courses and shows we organize.

Salsa Factory

Valentin and Simona are dancing together since February 2008. They now have a unique style which is a result of the way they interpret the music defined with an almost perfect match in their dance.
They made their debut in the international competitional world in May 2008 in Sofia, Bulgaria at the World Salsa Championship Qualifications where they received the 3'rd place. Their work is being awarded and appreciated and moreover, 4 months after their school opening, they have over 100 students. They now often receive invitations to teach and perform at national and international salsa congresses.

Mab

Known as Mab Gotan due to his Parisian style, being also one of the founders of this style, easily known due to his elegant manner of interpreting salsa, he is one of the best known and most appreciated Parisian teachers.
He started to dance Cuban Salsa, Porto Rican Salsa and Tango 10 years ago, thus creating his own style that combines salsa with tango. The first group to launch him in the entire world is Stamina, and then he would create his own team under the name of Paris Salsa Gang, group with which he will tour the world and participate to different salsa congresses and events.

Salsaalianza

They live in France, Paris, but they are native from the Antille Islands (Terry from Guadeloupe and Cécile from Martinique). Cecile took wing in the world of the dance from an early age, attending the classes of classic dance, modern jazz and others). Terry has discovered the hip-hop world at the age of 17 and, until December 2007, he was part of the U-tribe. Arrived to the dance world in a completely different manner, Terry and Cécile suspected from their first dances that their difference was in reality a complementarity. Their alliance allows Terry to canalize his speed and Cécile to make her sensuality more dynamic...
Afterwards they decided that each of their shows will completely differ from the precedent one …casino, mambo on1, on2, chachacha, bachata, merengue or zouk, we never know beforehand which will be the style of their next choreography.

Andrea Ban

I have been dancing Salsa for 16 years and been teaching it also for 14. It has put me through miracles full of pleasure and has enabled me to experience how to let go of certain things.

It is the magic of one instant that has helped me keep going:

I am inspired by the melody and rythm that stimulate heartbeat...
The sparkle of passion is inflamed to dissolve through the blood-stream...
Senses are urged by a rumbling fire...
The motion takes off and the body is softly embraced by the music...
And I am engrossed in a Truer Reality again and again...

Marian

His first encounter with salsa was accidentally in 1996 and since then “salsa” has become a lifestyle for him. In May 2001 opened “Salsa Friends & Family” dance school in Bucharest (teaching Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, Cha Cha, Rueda de Casino and Group Dances). For Salsa his teaching style is L.A. (in his opinion this style is conferring to a salsa dancer more dynamic and the opportunity to “put your touch in dance”).
He has participated in many salsa congresses in Europe, in some of them with shows. In 2005 he opened the 2nd dance school under the name “Salsa Friend & Family” in Constanta city and soon he will open the 1st salsa club in Constanta as well.
He’s the organizer of “Mamaia Salsa festival” in Romania which will take place in Constanta. He sustained many workshops in Romania, television shows, choreographies for musical videos.

“I love what I am doing and I share with passion my style”
